Kiss me I'm Irish! Well at least a little bit Irish! It's been a while since we had a {Lucky} update, but our family has been pretty busy.....and this SAHM has learned that moments to herself to upkeep this blog have scattered to few and far between. But we have enjoyed this small little holiday with lots of green and a little bit of {Luck}.
A few weeks back, Kara was out of school for President's Day and wanted to have some paint fun. We decided to do a little art keepsake for St. Patty's Day. I got my girl all set up and she made the clover and I had her working on the chevron background, but then the Laundry was dinging so I left to fold. Kara got a little carried away with her paint, so it turned out half chevron. I decided for her to fill the space with small {Lucky} Clovers. We used wine corks taped together for this. After she was finished I went back and added the {Lucky} lettering on top. It didn't turn out quite like I expected, but I love that. It's unique and shows Kara's artistic touch.
Lucky stars above you,
Sunshine on your way,
Many friends to love you,
Joy in work and play-
Laughter to outweigh each care,
In your heart a song-
And gladness waiting everywhere
All your whole life long.
-Irish Blessing
Till Next Time,
Katrina
